You know, I like the looks of this stinger...but i don't like all the stock bracing thats underneath it.

Put a winch on it and lets see.

I was looking at this bumper the other day at 4WheelParts, but the display said it was for the LJ/YJ/TJ, do they make one specifically for the JK or did you just modify a TJ bumper to fit?

I liked the looks of it in the store (and the price was right), but after seeing it mounted, I'm not sure...

They make it specific for the JK its a direct bolt on.

The JK decal are from the other Jk forum I just like them because they have Texas on them. The bumper weighs 60lbs

looks good. You should extend the lines and move your winch box in under the hood..Will allow more air to hit your radiator...which is much needed with these engines

Before you put on 37's on you really should weld on C2 gussets.
I have the EVO but any of them will work fine. I have seen the C's bend with 33's and spacers.
I also spot weld my caps while I'm in there just to keep em in place.

That is a sweet-looking stinger! One of the nicest designs I've seen. Looks great! Are you going to install auxiliary lights on the sides where the holes are?

X2.

Not sure if you can cut off the crash bar, as it looks like your bumper connects to it, but... if you can, it would cleanup really nicely. The crash bar, IMO, takes from the nice lines of this bumper. I think when you lift, it will become much more apparent as well.

Its just a little skid plate that bolts to the crash bar I dont think it effects the bumper if it was there or now. I didnt know if I could cut the crash bar off without effecting the frame or not.
I agree I think it would look great without the crach bar. Has anyone cut this off without issues?

I removed mine sometime ago.... no ill effects.

And... x2 on tacking the u-joint caps (until you are ready to drop coin on shaft upgrades), getting some c gussets, and would also add a sleeve kit to beef up your front housing. I feel these are all mandatory upgrades when moving beyond 35" tires.

Could you post up a pic with it removed?
