Currie CA's wont take grease

OK. I have front Currie lower CA's and the front johnny joint will not take grease. I pump it and and it spits it all back out through the zerk. (hehehehehe) I've done every thing i know to try and clean the the joint out short of taking it entirely apart ( which i dont personally have the tools to do) they are not that old and not abused and super clean.

Any tips or tricks short of rebuilding the joint would be appreciated.

well turning the joint they are as dry as a camel fart in a sand storm. I never had them take grease since i bought them so unless they are full from the factory. idk.. I had one of the 4 joints take grease and it oozed out of the spring clip instead of the actuall joint. thought that was odd.

The joints are really tight. They don't really have much room in them to hold much grease. I've had the 3" Johny Joints on a rig and had the same issue.

Rock Krawler used to put grease fittings in theirs too, but now they just put a cap screw in them and call it a service port. They recommend that you just put a few drops of 3 in 1 oil in the service port to maintain them.
I've been oiling the port once in a while and I spray some teflon lube on the exposed ball after I clean them. Seems to work great!

As said, there is not a lot of room for grease, a pump or two a year.
