Mile Marker

Hi all,

I'm only asking cause searching only produced a handful of threads. I'm finally pulling the trigger on a winch in the next day or so ...thanks for the input/advice in my earlier poll.

I don't live near lots of off road parks. I'll go to local trails occasionally and hopefully start going up to Rousch once in a while. My eventual goal is to hit MOAB in the not too distant future. I want something solid and reliable ...AND MADE IN THE USA!! Honestly, my winch will most likely get more utility use than recovery use ...unless we get Snomageddon Part Deux this winter. I don't mind spending good money on a great product, but I'm not floating in cash.

Because I saw the price difference, one question remains:

Warn M8000 @ $530 vs Mile Marker SEC8 @ $300

Thanks ...

GO...

love my Mile Marker but I do have to say it isn't the quickest horse at the starting gate but it pulls hard and keeps going. for my application at the moment i'm in no need of line speed. when the MileMarker V12 is released then i will put that bad boy up front and move my current one to the rear.

Thanks brother ...both are rated at 8000, so I'm leaning toward the Mile Marker for the price.
