PSC steering pump install issue

Installed the PSC hi volume steering pump and reservoir today.

Already had the ram installed.

The PSC instructions for the pump install says to use the stock bolts for the 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions but to use the supplied bolt for the 4 o'clock position.

The bolt they supplied was way to short and would not work. Not long enough to engage in the threads of the pump.

I used all three stock bolts. All clear the pulley and I can't figure out why they don't instruct to use all three of the stock bolts.

Anyone have some knowledge on this?

called PSC on this issue and the tech guy I talked to had no idea why the directions called for using a PSC supplied bolt in one of the positions on the pump.
