Radiator shroud/seals

i just changed my radiator...again thanks to mishimoto.

anyway, the little flimsy plastic shrouds on the passenger and drivers side were ripped and giving me so much grief that i just tossed them. they are the things that you see to the left and right of the radiator when looking directly at youe grills. do you think by not running them i can be preventing proper air flow towards my rad?

Apparently yes is affects that quite a bit. It was highly suggested to replace mine that I had tossed out. I bought new ones from rock auto.

re:Radiator/Fan shroud seals

yeah, those are pretty vital to proper draw of air across fins of radiator and direction of cooling air to engine.

Quadratec has them. Item 13 or 14 depending on year and item 15.

did you take your condenser off to put them back on or you rigged it up? im thinking of rigging it up instead of ripping the whole thing out to install it
