bodylift/ facelift

I installed a daystar 1" bodylift today, spacers seemed to measure out a little less than 1.25" and could not have been any easier! I will have to set some time aside to lift the rear bumper. I thought while the Grill was out I should just bedline that also, and while I was out front I shortend the bumper using the rough country kit and that was simple also. Now I have to decide on a 35" tire because the stockers just dont fit the plan!!!I plan on going with a soft 8's rim and need a good overall tire that is good in the snow!any comments would be helpful. This forum is a great source of information and I just want to thank everyone that posts write ups on installs as it takes all the guess work out of everything! so thanks again!!!!

I have a 1" body lift and running 35's on 17 inch procomps. Like you, I wanted a good all-around tire, I do alot of highway miles so I wanted something fairly quiet. I ended up with Yokohama Geolander AT-S. They look pretty good and are great in the wet and dry, haven't had them in snow yet but the reviews were great and they have lots of siping that leads me to believe they'll be good. They're also very quiet. For on-road performance I'd put them up against the BFG AT KO, at much lower cost. I've only done dirt trails so I cannot attest to their ability off-road. I'm pretty much a mall-crawler, and got the jeep (for now) to have something with 4 doors since I just had a son : ) Maybe when he's old enough for rougher play I'll do some more with it.
