JK 2 DOOR HARDTOP INSIDE THE 4 DOOR

ANYBODY KNOW IF IT COULD WORK TRANSPORTING THE 2 DOOR HARDTOP INSIDE THE 4 DOOR JK THANKS WITH THE HARDTOP ON THE 4 DOOR ALSO

No. The hard top is too wide to lay it on its side or to put it underneath the 4 door roll bar.

If you strapped it on top, it would get damaged.

You can rent a U-haul trailer or buy a cheap one at Home Depot, or borrow a pickup to transport it.

or find a buddy with a 2 door whos willing to ride topless one way and with a hard top on the way back.

you may be able to fold the seats down and take the top off the 4 door and stand the top up on end (the front end) thats how i stored mine in summer in my shed

Yeah that or maybe put a blanket on top of 4dr hardtop with doors open put 2dr hardtop on top with glass open and facing front of jeep and tie the hell out of it. Reason for glass facing front and open is to reduce drag. Or find a friend with a pickup

Or bust a hole in the top and drag it behing the 4 door with a rope or chain.... I wouldnt recommend this method, it may get scratched.

strap to the hood, tailgate forward, open tailgate, drive home

or keep the tailgate closed and just remember to wire in the wiper

if yoiu stand the top on its side during driving, it will get damaged. the hardtop will not be able to support itself vertically. it will crack somewhere in the middle of the roof, due to bumps/vibs on the road. my friend transported his top like this and wound up costing him 2k
