few questions - aux trans cooler

Going to be installing my B&M 70268 tran cooler this weekend. Will I have to add additional coolant after the install?

edit: for got to add. Will I need to drain all the fluid prior to the install, or will it be retained in the reservoir?

thanks all.

coolant? umm no but you have to add transmission fluid, it has nothing to do with engine coolant. you do not have to drain anything, when you cut the transmission line some will leak out but not much at all. Mine took about .75 quart to fill up. Read the write up by phil in the write up section.
