anyone running LED taillights?

did you have to add in a resistor or anything like you did with the TJ's?

There are flashers made by Trucklite and Grote for led lights on tractor/trailers. We have been using them for a long time on our KW's and Petes. The Grote ones come with 2 or 3 prongs and fit usually but you have to ground them.

Shit I put in the Resistors from PSC and still have a stupid fast blink rate about twice that of normal. Dont know what I did wrong Its just been to fucking hot to figure it out lately

Except the JK doesn't have a flasher. The computer does it for you


I've often wondered why can't you just leave the regular bulb in line inside the tub. It would have proper resistance and maybe not get as hot as the resistor.

........My other hobbies include: Older cars and trucks; Spending money on unfinished projects, and continuing to not finish them...

I added a resistor and when I pulled out the carpet in the rear I found that it had gotten hot enough to melt the carpet. Going to have to re-do them or deal with the fast blink.
