Poison Spyder Rocker Knocker Install

Thanks to Rebel Offroad and their free shipping I was able to get some Poisen Spyder Rocker Knockers (saved me $142 in shipping to Florida). Also, thanks to Poisen Spyder for producing a great product. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow (hear that Tim at Off Road Hero’s!!). Install went without a hitch. I decided to spray bed liner polyurethane on the rails and paint the insert the color of the jeep (did the grill while I was at it). Turned out awesome and I could not be happier. Here is a pic of the final product. Sorry, I could not get any of the other pics to load.

More Pics

This is how they come from Poisen Spyder. Just sand with 180, etch prime, and paint.

I also sprayed the grille while I was at it.

What did you spray your grill with?

Sprayed the grille with the same bedliner material that I sprayed on the rocker knockers. It is a polyurethane that I bought from the local paint store. It comes in a kit that makes about 4 sprayable quarts and a body schutz gun. It is the smart brand but Herculiner, Duplicolor, and others make a similar product. You can mix one quart and spray just the grille and that will leave you with three quarts for bumpers, rockers, or whatever else you want to spray. Cost about $99.
