2.5" coils + 2.5" spacers?

Anyone done this on an unlimited?

Coils in question are the "2.5" Rough Country ones.

Can I get away without driveshafts on a proclaimed street queen?

08 Unlimited - Flame Red "Lucy"
2.5" RC Coils & 33" KM2 on stockers

08 JK - Stone White "The Goat"
2.5" BB, 35" MTRs on 15s, Rubi sliders - just the beginning

Pretty sure 5" of lift on 2dr shafts will eat them up extremely fast. 3" seems to be the limit. Plus the caster on the front axle will be pretty loopy if you don't have arms to adjust it.

Unlimited ---- the wife's ride.

I didn't think of the latter. Doh. It is early and there isn't anything going on at work. I knew the answer to this question, I just didn't think about it long enough.

Well it's better its a 4dr, but I think even still they were far from designed to be driven on 5" higher!

Is there a big price diifference between the 2.5" and 3.5" lifts?

How much are good driveshafts?

I don't think there is much difference...I might put the 3.5 on hers. I want mine as low as possible. She's into the height on hers and I have a feeling it won't get wheeled much now that I have mine.

We are kinda connected at the hip so she likes to ride with me.

Driveshafts are probably $400 or so each. I don't know. I have refused to even look to this point.

FYI - Drive shafts are $500+ depending on if you get the 1310 or 1350's.

You could got to Tatton's Driveline (look them up on the internet) he will sell you killer shaft's for $400 each with Splicer ends. Or you could check your local driveline shop and see what they will do for you.

2.5" coil spacers

I had an X, I only put coil spacers, new shocks, new steering stabilizer which got me high enough to run rubicon wheels and tires (which I powdercoated-not the tires), plus gives my plenty of fender well to shove a tire in when I feel like it. Got out for under 500.00 bucks....Awesome
