OK, I Give, Body Lift Question

OK, I don't like BL's, but after putting in a 4" with 37's on the wife's Unlimited, things were initially fine on the road, till we packed up for camping with the receiver rack, two kids and the dog, and THEN tried to go wheeling. Needless to say the sag was bad, but even after unloading and hitting the trails we're hitting pretty bad. I'll do the pinch seam this week, but even after that we've worn through the rear bumper already...

SO, What's the deal with the BL's, 1", 1 3/4", 2"? I'd prefer stayng 1.5 and down to be honest. I hear if you go over a certain size there' issues. And what about the bumpers, stock for now, but going after market next (more sag with weight?).

What's up?

While I'm at it, I'd like to put a leveling spring spacer in the rear, say 1"? What's the deal on that??

Thanks, as always

I don't like anything bigger than 1" and only if needed to clear drivetrain stuff.

Throw a spacer or higher rate coils, I tossed a spacer in the rear of mine for the same reason as you: I own too much crap

A body lift is not going to raise your rear bumper, it is attached to the frame.

My sig is HUGE in Japan
