Just had 513s installed.

I'm going to pick up the jeep this afternoon. I can't wait. What is everyones take on breakin period of the new gears?

Gratz on the new gears. I would assume the break in is to just take it easy for a little bit.

Good break in writeup and explanation can be found on randys ring and pinion website. Slower speeds for the first 100 miles, no towing, no wheeling, and change the gear oil after 500 miles.

Thats what I do. Works good. That first fluid change at 500 miles is very important; You need to inspect the wear pattern and make sure everything is OK, and I usually find some steel chips from the gears breaking in.

Just had my 5.13 put in my 2010 JK at 249 Driveline first 500 miles take it easy no towing, no wheeling, change oil after that. Allen did a great job there. What did you pay? If you dont mind me asking....

2010 Jeep JK 4DR
4.5 Poly Performance Lift, 37" KM2's, Posion Spyder Rock Brawler, 5.13 Gears, Rear Eaton E Locker, more to come.....
