Raxiom Navigation Question

I have the Raxiom Nav Radio and when I use the system for trips, it appears that the initial "arrival time" is grossly out of range.

For instance, a recent trip of approx. 800 miles, the unit gave an initial time nearly 3 hours more from the actual time required to make the trip. As my trip progressed, the nav system would recalculate and fine tune the time required.

My point being, if I input a destination and the software gives a time of 15 hrs to arrive for a 12 hr trip, it's hard to tell someone "I will arrive in 15 hrs" and then show up 3 hrs earlier.

Other GPS systems that I have used in the past (Garmin, Magellan, etc) gave me the time required and never wavered from that time and they were accurate.

Maybe I have some setting wrong or that's just the way this unit works. It's difficult to tell someone when I might arrive if the times are constantly changing. Doesn't appear very accurate if it keep changing the "arrival time"

I hope I am being clear to understand these issues I am experiencing....

Thanks for the help!!

If it uses igo primo that is a common issue. I installed an eonon nav unit in my wife's van that runs that software and I have the same issue. Although for the cost of the eonon unit it's nothing I'm too worried about. I just changed the settings to display something else and dropped the eta.
