What ford axles are good for a swap?
YJs are driver drop, CJs are passenger drop.
You'll want to look for a 78-98ish front 60. Basically any of the ones that are from a leaf spring front vehicle. The 78-79 kp60s have more driver side tube, which makes them popular For TJ swaps with coils. The 78-79 also puts the pumpkin about 3"s or so toward the center of the vehicle that the later 60s.
Just stay away from the 99-04 f250 fronts or excursion fronts, as they are normally the d50.
Big question is are you staying with leaf springs or going to coilovers. If you're going with coilovers then the year axle really doesn't matter.
