What should I expect to pay for a 6spd rebuild?

Tranny been making noise for a year, today on the way home from work it started clunking, so it's parked. I'll call around tomorrow to a couple places I trust, but just trying to get an idea on rebuild cost, I know it can vary based on what's baked inside, it's been popping out of first for years. Also, I'm running 40's with 5:13's, it's an 07 JKU, is there anything I can beef up in it while I'm at it?

Thx

I would look at a nice T18, SM465, NP435 for about the same money long before I would put dime one into the stock box.

Or you could step up to an NV4500...

Every part that breaks is an opportunity to upgrade.

I stand terribly corrected.

I am so used to CJs and easy swaps, I just ASSumed all the adapters were there for the JK as well.

Which leaves the only logical course of action for a trans upgrade a full LS swap...

I would check with the hemi/LS swap companies. If wager they all have six speed pulls in the shop for way cheaper than a rebuild of your own.
