3.8 replace doublecheck

When swapping an 08 3.8 engine from a manual trans JK INTO an 09 with an auto trans, other than installing flexplate in place of the flywheel and removing bushing in end of crankshaft, any other roadblock I am missing?
Will the 09 auto ECU cooperate?
Thanks just need a sanity doublecheck!

Not sure about the ecu might need to be flashed. Check the main harness plug. you might have to swap it over from the old motor to the new one so that they match up. I went auto to manual no problem though so I dont think the ECU should be an issue. The motor doesn't care what its hooked up to just as long as something is telling it what to do.
