E-Brake Dash Light

Ok, I can't figure out how to make the stuipd dash light go off!!! I did an axle swap to full width ProRock 60's and the dash light for the "BRAKE" is on with the e-brake off! In fact, I disconnected the ebrake cable from the axle and the light was STILL ON!!

I can pull the e-brake and the light flashes...can someone tell me where the sensor is that controls this light or have ANY idea how to make this annoying light go away!?

Doesn't that light come on when your regular brakes are having a fault?

Just want to make sure it's really your e-brake causing it before you have to use the local constabulary to stop with.

Low on brake fluid. Top it off and see what happens, even if you think it is full.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SHAFFERS OFFROAD. YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID..

Ok, i topped the brake resivoir off with fluid and cleared all DTS codes with the SuperChip. I drove it not 5 feet and the light came back on...

I then re-worked my front ABS sensors (I have ProRocks with custom sensor mounts) and believe it or not that cleared up the BRAKE light!!!!??

I knew my ABS was having problems (the DTS codes mentioned ealier) but never imagined that the ABS/BAS lights are also correlated to the brake light.

Anyway, if anyone ever has this problem i would also check the ABS sensors. BTW, the rear sensors feed the speedo' (ask how i know) and the front will cause MAJOR havoc with the computer.
