Just got KC slimlite for Christmas... Long Range or Driving

Just got KC 100 w driving Slimlites for Christmas... Should exchange them and get the long range? I am going to use them for Offroad and I heard you get a lot of glare off the hood.

Any one have thoughts about this?

I've had the driving lights for about 8 months now. There is a little glare off the hood, but when you're looking at where those twin 130 W beams are hitting, you don't even notice the hood. Maybe its because my Jeep is red, it doesn't affect me. I say you will be fine,

Just when they think they have all the answers, I go and change the question.

I have the 130 watt driving lights mounted on the bumper and they come on with my high beams,,,, I LOVE them there. They get used EVERY day.
I have the 130 watt long range mounted by the windshield. no real glare.

i have the long range ones on the windshield brackets. other than being a PITA to aim, i love them. minimal glare off the hood.

Life's hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
