Rear Shock Orientation?

Anyone know if the shock body (can) goes up or down on the rear shocks when mounting? Does it depend on the shock?

The "can" goes at the top. There should be a specific bracket thing that comes with the shock that goes through the loop and two small bolts, one on each side secures it to the Jk shock mounting area.

Póg mo thóin!

It depends on the shock. Call the maker and ask.
most twin-tubes can not and some mono-tubes can.

I usualy mount them can body up to get them out of the way of being a rock target. But sometimes clearance issues makes you have to mount them can body down if the shock allows.
