Homemade "stubby" front bumper?

anyone done a write up on cutting the stock front bumper down?
i realize a sawzall will do the trick but what im interested in is how did yall get the end peices back on and look seamless?!?

I did it, but I just left the plastic cover off after cutting the cans and ends off. To me the metal bumper underneath looks fine, at least until I get the scratch to replace it with a winch bumper.

I really like that bumper but I have to agree with some of the others. I'm not a big fan of that hoop. /

there is a few write ups about this somewhere

search is your friend, I'm lookin at doin this as well...i know my 35s are gonna rub when i throw em on thats why i've been waiting lol

i did a search but didnt really find anything... i found things about how people cut them off... but not how in the hell peeps made them look stock by putting the end pieces back on?!?

I looked on a couple other forums (not dipshits though) and couldn't track a write up down. There is one on here somewhere, I just come up empty on the key words I'm using to search.

Ask one of the Jeep Nation guys in SA, one of them has done it before, plastic welding and all.
