Exclamation Compression Test Results Engine Smoking OIL Like Crazy. See Results

Hi All just in case I am posting this in a second Thread, Please refer to my first post for details. It turns out that is is Oil. Hopefully it is just the head gaskets and not the Cylinder Rings. Please let me know what you all think or Know. Thanks!!!!! GRRRRRR :-(

On your note there, did you mean to say 170psi?

That would indicate that the piston rings are not sealing properly resulting in severe blow by on Cyl#1. This would give you your white oily smoke out da tailpipe.

JMO, as I am a simple shade-tree mechanic.

Maybe someone else will post up with another possibility. I suppose it could be a valve not closing properly but my gut tells me it's rings.

If it is the rings, why would he get 190psi the first time around and then 70psi the second time?

Did you pull the fuel pump fuse and have the throttle to the floor when you checked the compression.

Didnt Pull any fuses just the plugs for the Trottle, Ignition and had the Butterfly opened with a tool
