Teraflex BB is on - a couple of pointers for the install

I installed the Terraflex 2.5" BB kit w/shock extenders tonight and I had a couple of malfunctions that I figured I'd mention to help others learn from my mistakes.
This kit isn't rocket science but the directions are pretty much nonexistant.

When you do the front lift, put the spacers on FIRST before the bump extensions. The spacers don't fit over them and they're a ***** to get back off. The easy way to pop them in is to put the floor jack under the front axle, put a brick or a block in between the extension and the axle and jack the axle up to pop the extender in place, then repeat to pop the stock stop back into the extension

After doing the back, I had to flip the driver's side sway bar link around to the inside - the top bolt rubbed the inside of the rim. Not a problem after the spacers but I had to flip the link without them.

On the rear shock extenders - Here's the big one:
Remove the top shock bolts from the BOTTOM- the nuts on top are welded to the frame. I broke a wrench then popped the weld on one of the nuts before I figured that one out.

After I figured those things out, everything went smooth and easy. In other words the first side took 3 times longer than the other side.

Also put on 1.5" Spidertrax spacers and it looks freakin GREAT!

Anyway, I hope everyone reads this before they put on their kit, it will make things a LOT easier and quicker!

Thanks for the helpful tidbits! It amazes me the instructions or the lack there of in many kits. Now this is limited to the Jeep world but it still amazes me.

So where are the pics?!!?!!?

yeah the instructions say things like "install the shock extenders"
hmmm
why not just just have the whole instruction sheet read:
"Install kit, use/replace parts as needed"
and be done with it?

pics will come soon, I finished up the install late last night and gotta goto work for a couple of hours here in a few. Looks good right now though, topless, doorless, lifted and widened. I R a happy camper
