Grill chop

I'm happy with how the chop turned out. I have some LED marker lights to install and clean up a bunch of other wiring. I'm also considering moving the Rigids to the inner mounting tabs on the JeepSwag bumper.

Looks clean. Isn't that the 40+ tire cut?

Probably. I was hitting the fender already at full stuff. That would be bump stop though. However I like this look as a mod even without 40s. One less thing to do later when I get bigger tires? Lol

Added LED lights. Popped right into the flares nicely.

Easy stuff. You won't mess up. Draw a line and follow it. I used a dremel with an up cutting spiral bit. It likes to try and walk but I left some room for that. Sanded the rest down to finish.

Chop looks good man. Did you make a custom front bumper for your winch to sit that low? I am thinking of doing the same thing to my jk. Do you have any more pics of how you did that?
Thanks.

It's a JeepSwag bumper. Designed to sit that way. It's basically a big L bracket. I don't think he has any left again. Seems to be a limited run kind of thing.

The Expedition One Basic DX JK front bumper allows for the winch to tuck-down pretty low into/between the frame rails like that one-off JeepSWAG , 89yjon ....I have one about to arrive as a 'self Christmas present' for that very purpose (plus the weight savings)

Apt, your rig is quite awesome. I dig the grill chop ; were you actually grinding those meaty 'Kooks into the grill at full turn? I also dig the MCEs although your creative hack job on the OEM painted flares was to be commended ( leaving the turn indicators on the fronts was a cool twist). The MCEs look better than the cut stockers and I am left wondering what they'd look like if they were painted the same color as the rest of Scarlet...
