Steering box

Just thought I'd post this up for all us with leaky steering boxes

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...one_10314423-p

If anybody knows of a better deal, or something better that won't be breaking the bank please post it up.

I finally understand JustEmptyEveryPocket...

Can send it to WTO ( redneck ram) and get it ported and rebuilt for a bit more than that.
Then you can be hydro assist ready.

You smell that?

Yep, I looked EVERYWHERE. Nobody actually had the box ready to go..ended up with a junkyard Delphi box.

I managed to get a steering box from WTO. They don't usually have an extra to rebuild and ship out to you but this time they did. So when I get it I will off course send my old one back. Just keep checking with them if this is important to you. I don't know the differences in steering boxes between Delphi and I guess a china made, or whatever, but I putting in a ram so I am less concerned.

You can't rebuild a China box, so if that ram had it's way with a stock box, you'd be concerned. But I'll assume you got a Delphi, since WTO rebuilt it...

Nice to know. How did WTO know that my box is rebuild able then? Cause it's a 2008 vs 2010?

Can't wait to get my steering in.

If it's OEM from 2008, then it's a Delphi. Late 2009+ got a China box.
