looking for template for gen-right crawler gas tank cut out

for those that have installed the crawler tank, im looking for the paper template for the rear cargo area that needs to be cut out of the floorboard. unfortunately i was going to start the install tonight but the paper template was overlooked with the packaging on my tank. i could eyeball it, but honestly im leery because there is no going back once the floor is cut out.

i did drop gen-right an email requesting a replacement, but its friday evening so i wont hear anything back from them till monday.

if anyone happens to have one laying around lemme know.

if i do it will be a custom job. ill probably go rk long arm 3 link though. im a rk fan.

i bought the gas tank more for keeping the weight in the center of the vehicle down low towards the back, not offset like the factory tank does. plus the factory tank is a god damn rock magnet.

if anyone runs across this and is looking for the template like i was, it doesnt exist.

i contacted genright support today and the tech guy said that the instructions were written up prematurely and there is no paper cut out for the plate in the back storage area.

That sux... but I'm sure you will figure it out. Post up some pics as you install, I've seen some from the Gen-right site but it would be cool to see some others, I want to do this too eventually.

Good luck.

i plan on doing a full write up with pics. honestly their instructions leave a lot to be desired. its not a rocket science kinda install, but for someone without a lot of mechanical experience it may be a daunting job. some good instructions with pics would make a noobie feel a lot better about the install.
