Temporary solution to a bigger problem?

2009 Rubi, 22k miles, 2.5" lift, 35s. NOT A DD.

While driving along today my ABS, BAS, & ESP went off and damn near pulled me off the edge of the road. I pulled over, turned off the Jeep, started it up and the shit kept pulling me right. Finally after 2-3 attempts, I pulled J6 and drove home. I don't mind driving without ABS and ESP and will probably do the wonderful steering wheel dance tonight. But, what caused this in the first place? I have no idea where to start diagnosing. Speed sensor maybe?

Bad speed sensor could be the culprit.

Here is a way to disable:

Just an update in case anybody else has the same issue: checked the codes at my local O'Reilly. It was a bad left rear speed sensor and sensor cable. After tearing it out, I noticed that the sensor cable runs underneath the axle for some un-godly reason. I'm guessing it was crushed by a rock or "something" last trip out. Sensor was ~$16 and the cable was ~$10 at O'Reilly. I took the liberty of re-routing all the cables over the frame to make sure they don't get crushed/cut again. Thanks for the help guys.
