The axle is for my WJ. I have the axle, and the gears were donated. The front standard rotation WJ D30 is geared to 4.10.
The labour doesn't concern me. I work in a auto repair / fab shop. We've done a setup or two.
I'm asking to save a buck. lol. If they simply don't work oh well, but if they do even better. It's why I'm asking for someone who has attempted this swap.
I understand that gears are different. The Rubi locker is offset and the axle shafts are different lengths. The non-Rubi has equal length shafts. I believe that between the Rubi and non-Rubi rings, one is thicker than the other.
