NEW! Digital air pressure sensor & G Screen 3.0

Now available, our new digital air pressure sensor allows your G Screen to serve as an air gauge!

Having installed some of the other air gauges on the market, I was not satisfied with what was available. The current options out there require you to run an air hose from the compressor all the way through the vehicle and plug into the back side of the gauge. This usually led to hoses getting kinked or damaged along the way, and added extra places for the air system to leak. They also make you figure out how to wire it up, usually with complicated schematic diagrams.

Watch how easy it is to install in this 15 second video!

The Genesis digital air pressure sensor makes those old timey air gauges obsolete! Simply screw the sensor into a 1/4" NPT port on your tank or manifold, attach the waterproof connector to the sensor, and plug the other end into the G Screen's interface module, and you're done!

The G Screen automatically detects when you plug in the sensor, and the next time you cycle through the screens, a new PSI readout is added so you can keep an eye on your air tank!

I apologize in advance if this new digital system causes you extra work - if you're like me, you'll be wanting to track down all the leaks in your air system when you see the pressure reading on the screen going down slowly!

The new air pressure sensor requires the G Screen version 3.0, which has been shipping since mid-January 2016. If you have a previous version of the G Screen, you can upgrade to the latest version by sending your screen and interface module back to us. We will flash the code to 3.0 and calibrate it to a new interface module with the sensor port and return it to you.

The link below to our website includes an option for upgrading your pre-version 3 G Screen. Our normal turnaround time is only 1 or 2 business days.

Here's some new pictures of the digital air pressure with the G Screen.

The kit is available with 2 different cable lengths. The first one below is 2M, or about 6.5' long. This one is the perfect length if your air tank or manifold is mounted under your hood.

You can also get the cable in a 5M, or about 16' long. You would need this cable if you are mounting your air tank in the back of the Jeep or under the body.

Here you can see the complete layout of the components. The grey cable on the right plugs into the G Screen port on your dual battery kit's top lid, and then into the G Screen interface module. The black cable goes from the interface module to the sensor. It just doesn't get any simpler to install than that!

Notice the cable connector has a notch that lines up with the key in the sensor so the cable cannot be installed incorrectly.

It's hard to see in the pictures, but there is a rubber o-ring inside the cable connector to seal the connection from dust and water.

Here is the sensor installed on a Viair ADA compressor. I like this one because it is all completely self-contained, with a small air manifold, air hose coupler, pressure safety pop off valve, pressure switch, and drain hole all built into one assembly. This type of setup is great for guys running ARB air lockers because the lockers require a constant amount of pressure to keep the lockers engaged. All you need is a small volume of air available to keep that pressure going down the line to the lockers.

Our G Screen monitoring system allows you to keep an eye on your air system, as well as your dual battery system. It is really nice to be able to see your air tank filling up, as well as be able to see if it is draining down when it shouldn't be, so you know you have leaks somewhere.

We keep everything in stock for same-day shipping! Please visit Genesis Offroad to learn more and to order yours!
