Question for Crash RE: Air Tank/Evap skid

I have relocated my muffler from the back to being along the frame between the axles. The Evap is still in the stock location and has some room around it, but I need to figure out if there is enough room for the skid and the muffler down there. Could you post some other pics showing what that skids looks like mounted and maybe something far enough out where you can see the other stuff under the jeep for spacial reference?

Thanks,

Why skid the evap? Why not relocate it above the axle?

My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to 99˘ a can. That's almost $7.00 in dog money.

Actually it is a skid for my air tank that happens to hold the evap as a secondary function. I had my tank mounted where the muffler used to be, but beat it up real good this weekend and was looking for a way to better protect the tank. Either I buy a muffler skid and leave it where it is at, or I buy the one River Raider offers and move the tank.

hehe

The rock that took out your tank was no ordinary one!

Oh, And listen to the video... You can hear your driveshaft grinding against the rock, And notice that the valving on the tank is still in place in the video. It is my guess that it was ripped off after winching though the rock

I'll bet that you never hit that spot again, Due to being pulled though that rock.

Good times!

Yeah... new 1310 Tom Woods en route. I'm still kicking around whether another inch of lift would help keep things from dragging on as much stuff in the future. I would go with bigger tires, but I'm already pushing it with 36's on a D30 in the front.

We have found this to be a good solution for those looking for a place to stow there air tank as well as protect there evap unit.
Here are a few pictures that may help.

Thanks! It is a little different on a two door, but this gives me a good feel for where it might sit. It appears to mount to the crossmembers, correct? Does it use any of the same mounts as where the EVAP is currently at?
