My 08 jetta's a/c just took a crap...heading to Vegas this weekend in the jeep

So, earlier today I washed my 08 jetta. Went to the post office and while going back home noticed the a/c wasnt getting cold. Let it run for about 1/2 hour and nothin.

Now I am going to have to take my brand new 09 Jeep wrangler unlimited on a 500 mile + journey to vegas.....

Is this a bad idea? The Jeep only has about 300 miles on it. I havent even owned her a week

You'll be spending more at the pump to get there but after you lose your money in the casinos, you can go offroading near by.

you should be fine, I just wouldn't use the cruise for a constant speed on the way...on the way back, whatever....wheel while you there...

yep, like everyone else said, just vary your engine rpm every onec and awhile, on a new motor you dont want to run it at a constant rpm for very long
