I have no leaks to date (knocking on wood) on my 08 JKU, and it is not a garage dweller. I had a trickle that would show up after washing the rig from the freedom tops in the center(above the rear view mirror). After removing the tops, cleaning all the gaskets(tops, doors, etc) with a micro fiber cloth, then applying heavy silicone spray, I'm a dry jeeper. When comparing my 08 to my inlaws 07, it looks like they tried to apply some type of weather strip compound on the 07 to take care of some of the water problems. Six times is pretty excessive, but not enough to exercise the lemon law here in CA, as its a cosmetic vs structural problem.

I have an 07 and have not had a leak yet... I have been using silicone on the seals and has kept them in good shape, still soft and not cracked. I suggest this to everyone.

2014 JKU, Tera44, 4.56 gears, ARB lockers, RK 3.5" flex lift, ARB front & rear bumper, dual Viair 400C w/2 gallon tank, Zeon 10S, Nitto Tires, Genesis Dual battery kit, TeraFlex tie rod & flipped drag link, ARB Intensities and TeraFlex dual rate ST sway bar.

Currently, I'm using CRC brand. Any brand of "Heavy Duty Silicone" spray in a can will do. I spray it on the door gaskets, wipe with a silicone gun cloth (paper towel will work), then reapply a second coat. I do this every 3 mo, depending on the elements I've been in. Keeps the rubber seals pliable. If you've never done it, you will notice your doors close easier, and less wind noise.

Walmart, Ace hardware, Home Depot, Lowe's, Pepboy's, Autozone-pretty much any place that carries automotive stuff. I think the CRC was picked up at Walmart for under $3usd, along with Syntec motor oil (5/20 as recommended).

This is the last time im bringing it back to the dealer for the leak. It's an 09 Rubicon i bought in december. If it still leaks im going direct to the sales manager i bought it from and give him hell. Im a Rhino Linings dealer so i think im just gonna take up the carpet and spray the entire truck so i dont get rust and the wet smell.

The only time my '07 leaks is if I run it through the pressure car wash and just barely leaks in. Good tip for the silicone on the seals.

ok here's an update. Got my truck back tuesday after they replaced some more gaskets and stripping. I ran a hose on it yesterday and its leaking worse then before! So instead of going back a 7th time, I called the sales manager i bought it from and he's gonna talk to chrysler to see what they can do. Has anyone gone through lemon-law with theirs or had their JK replaced??
