New toy!

Just got a new f150 to go along with my jk. But I am wanting to lift my trick as well. Are any of you out there running a lifted f150? And if so what kind of lift and even if not owning a truck maybe some knowledge you all would be willing to pass on about suspensions for a truck. Looking for great on road manners, smooth, but offroad capable. It's a 2012 by the way and I want to go with a 35 inch tire preferrably so nothing to crazy on the lifts.

I think you can run a 35" tire with just a front leveling kit, which will pretty much leave you with a factory ride. It doesn't take much to run 35s on a 150, I put them on a 2005 with just a front leveling kit and my current F150 came with 35s.

Check the F150 forums for plenty of opinions and reviews on lifts.

Congrats on the new truck!

First off, it depends on what year you have. The newer trucks are easier to get bigger tires under than the older models. I had an 08 lariat super crew 4x4 (what I'd consider newer) and ran 2.5" leveling up front and 1.5" add-a-lead in the rear. It was perfect on 35's with stock wheels and 3/8" spacers. I ran it that way for at least 25k till I sold it. Great truck with decent mpg.

Most recognizable brand name bracket lifts will serve your purpose. Put some money into decent coilovers and you'll be offroad capable...unless you plan on jumping the thing!

Take it back and get a Ram, then you can say you have a real truck!

J/k, BDS actually makes some good IFS lifts.

I can't offer any insight on the lift, but I'm kind of envious that you're 19 and have a jk and 2012 f-150!
