Rubicon sway-bar issues...

I've searched and can't find anybody with my particular problem. I'm not even getting a light on the dash when I try to disconnect the Rubicon sway-bar...any ideas? If it was shorted wouldn't I still be getting at least a blinking light?

If it's dead I think I'm going to go with the EVO manual conversion...anybody have any experience with this setup? How hard is the install?

The EVO is very easy to put on. 3 bolts and your done. You just have to cover or remove the plug and if your light is flashing than have the dealer flash the cpu.

Check the fuses and disconnect the module [sway bar] and reconnect it to see if you have anything.

The Evo sway bar disco could be built for about $20, damn that thing is simple!

I have an extra Rubi swaybar sitting in my garage if you need it for testing or want to stick with the electronic disconnect. Did this happen after the flats. If so this has been a hard trip for the Group.

Nope...got out there and it just wouldn't disconnect. Not sure what happened. Also did a nice job rounding off the bolts on the swaybar links trying to get them off.

I'm going to play with the fuses and make sure everything is connected and see what happens.

Sway Bar

I had the factory one after having the issue for the Currie Anti Rock and love it.

You weren't getting a light? What was the issue?

i have the evo conversion same reason the OP is looking at it. it took me maybe 10 minutes total to install it. i actually like it more than the button on the dash, except i get a little dirty when i have to reconnect after riding.
