Question before I break something.

2012 JKU

going to do some very mild off roading this afternoon. Still have the stock suspension on my JK will it hurt to pull off my sway bar disconnects? I know the shocks will stop the axle before the shaft hits the exhaust but what about the brake lines?

do you mean disconnect your non rubi sway bar ends? if so yes go for it. only do the front, no need to do both front and rear.

Well I got in some pretty impressive flexing for a stock suspension. had the sway bar links removed and no problems with brake lines however the front driveshaft did rub the exhaust cross member some. I was under the impression the shocks would restrict the movement enough to not all it to run.

I got a pretty good video of all the riding will post sometime.

Front.

Back Side.

Side shot.
