Seatbelt issues...

Howdy!!! Well, for the third time, the drivers side seatbelt won't retract.

The JKU is a 2010 with around 26K miles, yet despite the drivers side seatbelt being replaced twice by the dealer to correct the aforementioned issue, once again, it just hangs there like a limp Dick Tracy!!!

Any of y'all encounter the same problem? Thanks for any input!!!

No, primarily dusty pastures/ranch roads and the Texas coast (POC, Port A, Rockport-Fulton, & PINS). Concerning the latter, the dealer techs didn't detect any salt corrosion nor fouling; just that the retracting spring mechanism had "failed."

I had/have the opposite problem of the belt only retracting. It would pin you to the seat or not allow you to buckle. I had it replaced but the new one did the same a few times.

My main issue is the latch on the seat does not instantly lock the buckle into place. You have to press it a certain way to make it latch, especially in cold. It is aggravating to say the least.

I guess the only thing to do is keep replacing them till a good one is found.
