Installed the Ploy Draglink Flip Kit Last Night

Ordered the parts from Taylor at Rebel Offroad who gave me great prices and service! Free shipping too!! Thanks again

Didn't take too many pics during the install cause I was trying to get it done after working a full day already. Figured I had to get it done cause my next few weekends were booked up.

Off with the stock crappy bracket

New bracket Welded and painted

Sway bar link relocation for drivers side

All bolted up got the Poly Track Bar and Draglink

Ended up using the tapered reamer from this post https://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13936 instead of the drag link flip adapter.

That's all I got really of the install ended up wrapping it all up about 10:30 last night.

Looks great. Am curious though, what is the advantage of flipping the drag link? Just clearance?

Reduces the force on the steering box, resolves bump steer if you have enough lift to induce it, reduces wander and improves road feel. Also you raise the front track bar mount at the same time, which raises the roll center of the Jeep. Improving it's handling characteristics.

Hey man Is this the bracket for 2.5" axle tubes? I think the one for the the 3" tubes is the same height wise as far as the mounting location goes. Could you measure from the bottom of the bracket to the middle of the top mounting hole and tell me that measurement. Thanks in advance I'm thinking about doing a high steer setup on my RJ 60.

I believe Poly does. But the stock tie rods are miserable anyway. They bend in fear when rocks approach them...and on occasion the ram bends them. They suck.

Yes, works great. I ran their bolt-on setup for a couple of years and thought it worked great.

You can get other sized clamps that would fit aftermarket tie rods from Poly Performance as well. Some sizes can be ordered already tapped for the steering stabilizer bolt.

How much lift you have? I have the flip kit but am only using the drag link for now. I know you need like a 3 inch spacer to use the flip kit and I'm worried I'll lose some articulation.

I have the RK 2.5 coils and jks acos spacers up front. Haven't dialed in the bump stops yet though.

Nice, can't go wrong with that. I'm really impressed so far how much better it feels on the road now. Granted my stock stabilizer was shot and I bolted up that new shiny Fox one
