What I am doing wrong on my soft top?

Just put the soft top on for the first time since I picked up my JKUR. I must be doing something wrong. See pics...piece in the middle doesn't seem to clip or snap into anything. Or is this normal? Looks like a potential for leakage.

THis is basically in between the two doors.

Do you have these plastic pieces in for the top/windows to clip to?

yessir. best I can tell, there's nothing for that little tab to snap into...or maybe I'm an idiot.

Look for a channel that the top can fit into along the sides. Look at the first pic. Right above the guys left thumb. It should clip into that. If not go to the dealer.

I'm sure I'll think of something

There is a bar that runs across the jeep in that are. There are "C" channels at each end the channels need to sit in the bars and then it will sit flush and bring the top down another half inch or so...

This may sound confusing until you look at it from inside the jeep

I just left mine hanging down. No wonder I get water in the jeep. But hey its AZ it only rains occasionally.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check it again tonight. I have the door surrounds and found the channels for all the other pieces to snap into but this piece didn't match up. The worn foam tape was coming off and wasn't sure if it was actually where it's supposed to be, and blocking something.

And here I would have said your Jeep is angry that you're trying to put a top on it... I would go with what these guys said.
