Gobstopper's build up

Gobstopper, as my kids affectionately named it, is my 2011 JKU. I bought it new in Feb of 2011 and it has remained pretty much stock until last week. Here is the transformation overview:

Teraflex 3", 8 arm lift
Bushwacker flat fenders
JKS Adjustable trackbar
e-autogrills (paramount restyling) front/rear bumpers
Bilstien 5100 shocks
Warn VR10000s winch
BFG KM2 37" tires

(Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics)

Started the build as any build should start!

All the parts (except trackbar and shocks) ready to go on.

Removed the front stock flare and splash guard.

New Bushwacker on.

Removed the front axle so I could weld on the Artec front truss. Unfortunately the truss arrived a day later than expected and I had to get the jeep done. This is saved for another time...

Rear fender done.

All the flares are now complete. This took a good 6 hours.

Removed the front and rear stock bumpers.

My shocks and front trackbar showed up just in time

The rear of the jeep under its own weight

Rear shocks mounted

My buddy removing the stock rock rails so they could be shortened

Cutting 1 1/4" off of the rails

2011 JKU, 37" KM2, Teraflex and other goodies.

The shortened rail and trimmed pinch seam.

New front bumper installed (yes, this picture has a Smittybilt winch. This was returned and replaced with a Warn the next day).

Rear bumper installed with spare tire mounted

Warn VR10000s installed

Mounted the OBA connection into one of the stingers gusset holes.

Went and ran Caribou Creek trail. Short and easy but allowed to to test everything out a bit...

Still have some contact issues...

Other flex pics

Well now just do it all at once will you. Good look for the Jeep. I'm sure you are going to need to park it so you can see it from the window.

Nice, those contact issues will work themselves out.

Not yet. The front shipped a bit late and in high in site I'm glad it did. Got an email from Artec a few days ago and they had the wrong size hole in the track bar mount I also bought from them. They are sending out a new one. That project (front truss, rear truss and bracket) should be starting in the next few weeks.

I do have bumpstops. Used the ones that came from the teraflex kit. Apparently need more though!
