Mission Accomplished. A bit of an alligator wrestling match, but they come right off.
The tip above re: not pulling the seat cover and just working the two 8mm hex headrest frame bolts out from between the cushion and the seat frame really saves a lot of time, particularly on the passengers side. Use a ratcheting end wrench and it's a snap. Aside from fishing out the zipper ends, the biggest tussle is getting off the finisher plate that goes betweent the headrest uprights.
