Boa Bumper from olympic 4x4

Hey guys just wanted to know what you thought about the boa bumper from olympic? I found out they only work 2 city's from where i lived and it might just be easier to get product from them instead of having to do the whole shipping process. Just wondering what you guys thought about either the Boa bumper (regular one) or extreme one? any thought on whether i should buy from them or try something else?
Hopefully your guy's opinion's really help.

I found there website and put up a link
(this is the regular bumper)
(this is the extreme one)

For my money right now, i would either be going with the Schaffer bumper below:

Or i would be looking at JCROffroad's options.

I think this thing is finally coming together. Still Needed: drive shafts, frame mount rails...then done son! For a while...

That bumper looks weird to me.

This bumper looks like the mouth on the chicken in Chicken Run.

I'd go with JCR, Shaffers, or PSC personally.

Not a fan of tube bumpers and that looks as basic as they come. Not good looking IMO. I would consider the JCR bumpers (I probably would get one if I didn't already have an XHD and was in the market)

This is the olympic bumper iam running. Let me give you some info if you dont know already. If your jeep has factory fog lights you will not be able to squezze a winch down in between the frame rails, you will have to run either a flat or slightly raised winch plate. Then you will have to cover if you want the fairlead opening in the bumper.

Actually, you can run a winch down there and still run your factory fogs. They just came out with some pods that hold your factory fogs outside of the bumper. They also just came out with some d-rings that bolt on as well. I just got one of these boa extremes from a guy in Daytona and I can't wait to get it on. I think it looks cool and I personally like the tube style. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. If you dig it, rock it.

Not sure about the Boa bumper, but I like my Body Armor. One of the few that I've found that has a front hitch receiver. Good for recovery (and if I want to be "that" guy with the surf rod holder on the front of the Jeep )

Might want to look at the Nate's4x4 as an option, especially if you want a receiver hitch on the front. I looked at this bumper from Olympic and the nates and the nates was the best bang for the buck, plus liked the look better. Only thing I was dissapointed on was there were no spacers included for the factory fog lights so they stuck out like crazy, not a huge deal though, couple pieces of cut tubing and they were good to go.

Although I realize this is an old thread and most of the questions were already answered by other forum members, I thought I would be helpful to bring some of the changes at Olympic to everyone attention.
You can now order direct from Olympic, here is a short cut to our website: we are dot us, not dot com as we are a United States manufacturer all our products are proudly made here in the U.S.A.
To get the best deal on the mentioned; Relocation Light Pods pt. 852-174 and D Ring Shackle Mounts pt. 341-174 purchase them in Combo Kit 382-174:
The Boa Bumper series from Olympic 4x4 Products is a remarkable strong and highly durable bumper design. If you don’t believe in running with the crowd and are interested in a unique custom style that stands out one of the Boa Bumper designs is the one for your jeep. We make a recessed winch mount you can add on as well as a Stinger you can bolt on
Anyone interested in coming down to the factory and picking up your order please call first to prearrange to have your products ready when you arrive. Time permitting we will also be happy to give you a tour. We are off Interstate 5 Santa Ana freeway between the 710 Long Beach and 605 San Gabriel Valley freeways in City of Commerce, CA.
