3.5 RK Pro installed on 2012

Couple other pics here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Caroli...96053967080582

Rig doesn't wander all over the road anymore! Really impressed with the kit and can't say enough about Alex and Josh for the setup/install. First rate work for sure.

Nice flex. What size bumpstops are you using in the rear? I have the 3.5" RK Max Travel suspension using 3" bumpstops in the rear, but I haven't flexed it yet to check for rubbing issues.

Looks great! I couldn't tell, is that a long arm or mid arm kit?
If long arm how did you deal with the bugle and the mounts?

I'm not real sure what they put on there. I'm guessin it was whatever comes with the kit.

Long arm, and again not real sure what they did. Far as I know it was all bolton except for the welding parts. They addressed the driveshaft by replacing a section of the exhaust with some custom tube work.

It was a 3" zone lift the dealer put on. Don't know if it was the install or the product or just a fluke, but it was pretty unstable.

Used to go down to Effingham County a bunch. Good times down there!

Toothmonger, could you take a picture of where the bugle portion of the exhaust used to be and where the mount is in the same area.

X2. I have the same lift sitting in my garage. Still havn't decided how to handle the exhaust loop issue.

AFE makes everything you need to address exhaust issues in the '12 models. The move the crossover behind the crossmember, and they have a bugle eliminator. Pricey stuff though.

toothmonger - did they have to remove/screw with the bugle to accommodate the driver's side front upper control arm, or just the exhaust crossover?

A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.

The exhaust on the 2012 does a loop on the drivers side, not really a bulge IIRC . The loop was cut out and ran around the front control arm mounts. On the passenger side I ran the tube underneath the transfer case behind the cross member instead of in front of it. Everything was then wrapped in exhaust wrap because it was close to some important lines such as fuel and brake.
I thought it was one of the best options. The only issue is there was little room to fit a flange in to disconnect it.
