any issues with 4.11 or 4.56 gear in dana 30

so if I want to re-gear my D30 to 4.11 or 4.56 any issues?

not to worry, I will be doing other axle mods as well.

Gears are gears, if they are installed properly there should be no issues. What issues do you think you might have?

I don't think anyone makes a 4.11 for the D30, do they?

manual trans 4.88's

I have an 08 unlimted auto running 4.88's on 35" Nittos and I wish I would have put in the 5.13's........

jeep does, I had them in my 08 until about 5 months ago.

Oh I don't know, I was thinking taller gears were larger dimensions due to more teeth on the ring....

Mostly I don't know what the heck is going on with mechanical stuff.

Go with 5.13. Manual or auto. Im doing 5.13, I am on 35s with a 6 speed.

I have the 6 speed, 37's GY w/Kevlar, and 4.88's and couldnt be happier.
