Got the RK 3.5" X Factor MidArm lift installed!

Thanks to Demeeder, we got the RK 3.5" X Factor Mid Arm kit installed yesterday starting at 930am and finishing somewhere around 7pm!

And another THANK YOU to Marcus at RCO as well for hooking me up!

Here are some pictures....waiting for daylight to get a good day shot of the Jeep. As an additional note, I gained about another inch with this 3.5" RK kit over my 3" TF kit!!!

And yes, the picture shows the rear driver swaybar arm on the wrong side....we caught it after the pictures and swapped it over!

One thing for sure...make sure you have a sawzall with a metal cutting blade or something similar to cut the bolt off to the passenger front upper control arm as you will NOT be able to get that bolt out without dropping the exhaust system!

Pretty sweet, can't wait to see final stance. I am going with the Aev nth degree 4.5rs with RK arms upper and lower. Should be an awesome combo.... One month left...

I've done virtually everything on my rig, other than welding the front tubes & gussets and the gears. All has been done laying on my friggin' old back with the JK on stands. I'd probably sacrifice a body part for a lift.

All you have to do is join the military! We have a self-help garage at almost every base where you can work on your own vehicles....they usually have at least one lift. Where I am at I am fortunate that almost every bay has a lift! Definitely makes it much easier than having to do everything from ground or laying on the back level!

Lifts can be purchased for about 1500 bucks. As long as you have a place for it, there is no reason a guy who spends way more than that on a jeep couldn't have one.

I'd have one, but my garage isn't tall enough. Ugh

Well done! Looks great. I really like that lift. I will probably end up with that or with the coil over option. Jeep looks killer!

Thanks everybody! It's nice to have a smooth ride finally and not hear that drive shaft squealing cause it was in a bind without the control arms adjusting the axle to the proper angle!

Dave, thanks! There was no way I was going to be able to get it done if you weren't there! Guys, my shoulder is still jacked from the surgery and Dave ended up doing most of the heavy work cause I couldn't hold my right arm up long enough to connect the heavy parts....I ended up helping hold parts with my left arm (the good arm) while Dave did the bolt installs and torquing!

Thanks, man. Feels good every time I see the logo.

...and keep me updated when you're going to be in the Lone Star State again. We still have to grab a couple Texas sized porterhouses.
