AEV Procal module

I have a AEV Procal module. I got my winch installed and want to take advantage of the higher rpms when winching. I have looked through the manual and I don't know how to make the rpms increase. Can someone shed some light for me?

Thanks
Steve

Set the dip switches and plug it in while the vehicle is running. It should increase the idle rpm for about 5min or until you restart the vehicle.

Sorry should have looked at what I wrote. I understand how to do it. Just how do you get it to engage when you want to increase the rpms to winch

X2, you need to engage the procal just prior to winching.

I just plug it in when I need the higher rpms? I think there should be another way to do it. That kinda seems like a pain in the but. I'll give it a try and see if thee is another way. Thanks

Yeah, that's how you do it. I've started to carry it in the glove box when I go offroad (now that I finally have my winch). Just preset the dip switches so you don't have to monkey with that on the trail.

But if you find a better option let us know!

Oh, and for the record, most guys simply sit in the drivers seat and use thier foot to bring rpms up on long pulls. (I know that you know that but just info for the nubes).
