TPMS question.

I'm about to buy new M/T's for my rig. I need TPMS sensors for my aftermarket wheels. I found these on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-Solutio...ar=1&carId=001 Says they'll work on my 08 JKU. Will the system on the JK automatically pic up the signal or will I have to go to the dealer and have it flashed? Just wondering what anybody else is running for TPMS sensors on their aftermarket wheels and how they work before ordering 4 of these. Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just swap the factory ones to the aftermarket wheels?

I want to keep the A/T's on the wheels they're on. When I travel back home to GA they will go back on my rig.

I swapped in standard stems and just turned off the warning light with a flashpac. (I set my TPMS to 0) Watch the for sale section for somebody dumping theirs.

no need to flash. It will learn the new ones.

No problem I did the same thing pretty much when I sold one of my JK's and I drove it about 1000 miles before it sold without any problems.

Or you could but a AEV Procal and set the TPMS to zero.
