I was thinking about getting 3.5 lift for my 2011 Wrangler. I figured I would come to the experts to get an answer. I want to go with extended brake lines instead of extended brakets. So the question or questions, should I go with a 4" line or would a 6" line be better? Would the extra lenth of th 6" line cause it to get pinched?
You want a line with an "L banjo similar to the stock ones. Poly Performance's lines are 23" IIRC, just about a perfect tlength and will not get snagged. I had some from another mfr that came with my 4" kit that were 26" front and 30" rear with no "L" banjo. Way too long and vulnerable the way they exited the calipers. That mfr has gone to a "L" banjo by now.
The brake lines I'm looking at have the "L" banjos. I don't know if I didn't say it correctly, but what I'm looking for what would be better 4 inches over stock or 6 inches over stock for a 3.5 inch lift. Would the 6 inch over stock be to long and get pinched? I figured the longer the better or should I go with the 4 inch over stock since it's the closest to the height of the lift?
