Give Happy Some Love...

Despite our differences it is time to come together.

HappyCurmudgeon (aka Ken Offerbeck) is loosing the battle against Cancer.

Ken is a great soul and has been a mentor to many jeepers new and old, and has
always stayed away from the political BS between the two forums.

I talked with him this past weekend and he was so pleased to know that
the we are still thinking of him.

"Thank you for the warm wishes, it made my day to know someone cares..."

For the days he has left with us... lets blast Ken and his family with love and affection.

I hit the Facebook link and agree with his message about loved ones and not wasting life.

Funny how none of this stuff matters (forum, real life, or otherwise) as much when mortality stares right at you. All you care about is the ones you love, everything else is secondary. I don't personally know this man, but that doesn't matter. His message still applies to all of us. I think about my end a little more than most people do probably, but it always keeps my priorities aligned in doing so. I care about work and money less than I should because I can't take any of it with when I die. The memories of my beautiful kids and Wife will be all I have to comfort me as pass over alone, just as we all will.

I will keep him and his family in my thoughts.
