ROAD///RACE MOTORSPORTS 2012 JKU Build

Hello JKO friends, RRM has obtained a 2012 JKU Rubicon. We have decided to build this JK to show the offroad enthusiast what RRM is capable of, in the offroad motorsports world. We aquired the JK with the assistance of Chysler Jeep, this JK will make its debut at this years SEMA SHOW. It will also make numerous events sucha as , KOH, 50th Tierra Del Sol, Moab EJS, Jeep Jamboree, Overlander Expierence, an local events such as Big Bear Forest Fest etc. It will also see media exposure ie: magazines, web shows, etc. Our intention is to build a JK that can be daily driven with the capabilities to hit the trails on any given weekend. Our build sheet is nothing too exotic, its mostly built with products that support the industry with a few twist here an there.

These are the manufacturers that have contributed to the build:
Redlands Auto Plaza
Poison Spyder Customs
Warn Ind.
sPOD
Rigid Ind.
Garvin Racks
TrailReady Beadlocks
Rock Krawler Susp.
Toyo Tires
Icon Vehicle Dynamics
Xtorm 4wd
Powertanks Co2
PRP Seats
Viair
Drake Offroad
Zietronics

Here are some shots.

Nice build sheet but where's the MOTOR MODS? It was discussed on another thread on here that you guys have a kit coming out to get 315hp out of the 3.6 natural aspiration and not force inducted.

Interior semi gutted. This vehicle will be a 4 seater, eliminating the back benchseat. PRP seats only makes a bench seat bracket for the JK. After fabbing this bracket to accomodate 2 adult size seats, the JK will be taken back to PRP after SEMA so they can dub the bracket for the public to purchase as an option.

Yes BDH, we do have a new exhaust axleback system wich is still being tested on our test mule. Due to this build we are smashing on the build at this time. As soon as we can we will post dyno charts of the passes. We also have a new intake for the 2012. wich accepts a K&N element along with a pre filter. When I get the OK from the boss i will post pics of these items asap. Thanks

Cool, well when Johnny was at PRP talking to Arron, Arron said the seat base was for the benchseat. An we decided to fab to the existing base to allow for the buckets. Arron also said he wanted the base after Sema to dub for the JK. HMM!!maybe we are misunderstanding. this was last week when we talked. But atleast we can all have a decission on buckets or benches for the JK.

thanks George, im busting my ass on this build, as of today its sitting on jacks with no fenders , no bumpers no lights, no hood no grille no nothing, no wheels , only thing complete is the ROCK Krawler 2.5 lift, an it has to be done by next friday heading to Vegas, but we are making sure everything is perfect, so i guess its gonna be midnight burn the next week.. but this build will showcase RRM to the jeeping world..

we have a few numbers but there not official, right now were at about 308hp, but we stopped playing due to this major buid. But if you read a little about us on the web. you will learn that we will never give up to find hp an keep the motor an compnents happy.

This is pretty awesome. I spent a good chunk of cash at Road Race Engineering on my first gen DSM back in the day and always got exceptional service and quality products. I even visited the shop when I took a trip out to cali a few years back. It's great to see you guys branching out to Jeeps, my newest money-pit interest!

I know RRM and RRE are somehow affiliated but you can break it down for me?

This is still one of my favorite pictures..

thanks , yes a few of the guys here @ RoadRace have been jeepers for over 25 years, so the owner was always willing to get into building Jeeps an also manufacturing quality components to grab more power. Along with our Rally Racing expierence we felt that some of our products will be great for JKs. Yes were all the same company its just different divisions with the same Road Race Quality an Service,
