CD/DVD player unable to read disc

2009 RER ( navigation) cd/ dvd player wont read a disc. couldnt find anything in owners manual to troubleshoot.

Anybody else deal with this? Solutions? Thanks

Ive heard a dealer re-flash will fix most problems with the mygig radios, if a re-flash wont fix your problem I would get an aftermarket head unit. I love my kenwood cd/dvd/nav head unit.

Or your disc are scratched and dirty.

you might have dust on the lens they make a cd with a brush on it to wipe the dust on the lens I would try that before pulling the unit?
